Nice location near the beach and within gated community. Definitely need a car to get there and around. One thing to note is that check-in is not fully independent. The host must let you in the gate the first time. He was very responsive and right on time but I would personally rather not have to coordinate arrival in case plans change or a late call would have been required. Also had to call security upon arrival to get pass for car. This required some Spanish as the guard when we arrived didn’t speak English.

Stayed with wife and 2 kids (age 3 & 4). We enjoyed the short walk to the beach. If you walk to the 2nd beach entrance, past the fishing building, there is a nicer beach that's shallow for little ones and has clear blue water. Pros- safe location, beach access, kids toys available, bowling and many restaurants nearby. Cons- the apartment could use a deep clean (musky smell on 1st floor, dust on fans, fridge smells) and maintenance (paint chipping off stairwell, uncomfy hard mattress, worn out towels). Also the pool was closed our entire stay and that was the main reason we picked this AirBnb over another without pool amenity for our kids. Overall we enjoyed our stay regardless and Hector communicated well with us. He also left us water bottles and a souvenir mug which was appreciated. Thank you.
