Our brand-new log home is the perfect base for your Colorado mountain vacation! You’ll find space for up to ten, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and two living areas. Halfway between the Winter Park ski resort and Grand Lake, the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, you’ll find plenty of outdoor recreation in every season. At the end of the day, get away from it all and relax in the hot tub or on the spacious wrap-around deck and enjoy unparalleled Continental Divide views. Our secluded home is located at over 9000' elevation in a peaceful mountain neighborhood. It has a spacious wrap-around deck, and the wall of picture windows faces east with unobstructed views of the Continental Divide for amazing sunrises, sunsets, and star-gazing. ColoCabin is built of 10" pine logs with custom log accents and many other custom features. It includes an indoor gas fireplace for cozy mornings and evenings at the house, a large 8-person hot tub, and multiple places for you to hang out and enjoy, indoors and outdoors. The open floor plan on the main floor of our home includes the fully-stocked kitchen, dining room, and living area with a gas fireplace. A full bathroom and bedroom with a queen-sized bed round out this floor. The open loft area includes a California king bed. You can lounge in bed and enjoy the Continental Divide views through the massive front windows, or enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony. A sitting area and full bathroom are also on this level. The walk-out basement has high ceilings and lots of windows, providing plenty of light. It includes a bonus area with ping-pong, air hockey, and a large TV. It also has a full bathroom and two bedrooms (queen and a room with two sets of twin bunks). Laundry is located on this level as well. We've worked hard on our home and treasure the time that we spend there. We know you'll love it too!

Beautiful home , gorgeous view, and very peaceful. We had a wonderful weekend enjoying this great cabin. The only downfall was the master bedroom is designed for early birds with the sun rising and shining right into the bed. The whole upstairs bedroom is open w a lot of direct light and not private to the main downstairs . Our last night we slept on the main floor for less of a bright wake up call. Sarah and Brian have done a wonderful job with their home . We would definitely come back for another quiet , retreat away weekend. We can’t thank you enough.
Sarah’s home was beautiful and perfect for my family ski trip. The views were amazing and the home is in such a peaceful area. We were amazed with how clean the space was.
We cannot say enough how satisfied we were. We did not want to leave and actually extended another day. We have already started talking to Sarah about renting again next winter. Highly recommend!!
Wonderful place to stay! There’s lots of amenities and little touches that make this stay charming. The house is beautiful and well maintained with absolutely stunning views. Convenient location being only 20 minutes away from the slopes as well! Sarah has excellent communication and is extremely responsive to whatever needs you may have. If I could give a 6/5 star review, I would.
We were a party of 7, stayed 5 nights and enjoyed it very much! The house is beautiful and the view is priceless. The host, Sarah, was very helpful and easy to communicate with. It's a great location for us, we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle. But it was close enough shopping and dining. The house had everything we needed. All we had to get were groceries. I would highly recommend! We will definitely stay there again. Thank you Sarah!

Winter Park Highlands is a quiet mountain neighborhood with county-maintained roads. Our secluded home sits high in the neighborhood on over an acre of land that looks east for gorgeous Continental Divide views.
Grand County is home to a wide array of outdoor adventures for all seasons, and our house is centrally located among them. You'll find plenty of opportunities for downhill skiing and snowboarding, nordic skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking, golf, and water activities, just to name a few.
You can be on the mountain for your ski day at Winter Park Resort in about 20 minutes (or slightly longer if you choose to park at Mary Jane). Other nearby activities and amenities:
- The town of Winter Park is 15 minutes away.
- Grocery stores are located 13 minutes in either direction (towards Winter Park or Grand Lake).
- Ski Granby Ranch is 15 minutes away.
- The Grand Lake entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park is 40 minutes away.
- Granby Lake and Shadow Mountain Lake are approximately a 30 minute drive.
- Grand Lake is 35 minutes away.
Our home is located on county-maintained roads. During the snowy months (which can extend before and after traditional winter months due to the high elevation), we highly recommend an AWD or 4-wheel drive vehicle.

I live with my husband and our two boys. I've been skiing for my entire life and count many outdoor pursuits among my favorite activities. My family has been skiing at Winter Park for many years but we really fell in love with Grand County during a several month stay there shortly after COVID began. Building our dream mountain home has been a grand adventure and a labor of love. We know you'll love it too!
