10/10 I stayed at Monsieur G's place for a month. It was my homebase to explore the city. Perfect location in between all the great food, nightlight, and culture spots. In between the artsy bywater and next to Frenchman's street. and close but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of French Quarter. It's well appointed, clean, and quiet, it looked better than the pictures, tastefully appointed. Monsieur G is a great host himself putting much more than all the special touches, he truley wants you to have a great stay. Has laundry on-site, bike parking, outside space, air conditioning (if needed), kitchen, utensils, tv, etc. I've stayed all over the world and I would 100% recommend this place again. Oh yea the area is safe and quiet, the block itself is cute and quaint.

This is by and far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. The location is incredible. You are incredibly close to the French quarter, Marigny, and Bywater all awesome areas for exploring. Despite being so close to the action, it was a very quiet and peaceful stay. I’m a light sleeper and slept very soundly here. I was also very comfortable working remotely there. The desk space was comfortable and a monitor was provided. Having a parking lot in case you bring a car is a HUGE plus. The home was clean, stylish and well stocked. Things like toilet paper, tons of towels, kitchen supplies, laundry products, hair dryer and straightener, etc were all supplied! Finally the host was so wonderful and kind. He sent me tons of amazing recommendations before and during my stay so I could feel like a local. The only thing that the listing didn’t note is that there is on site laundry! It’s on the third floor of the building and is $2 for a wash and $2 for a dry. Very affordable and convenient!

Our stay at Monsieur Gs apartment was everything we could have asked for and more! Some highlights of the space included private off street parking, quiet neighbors, amazing art and decor throughout the unit, solid air conditioning, and a cozy desk set up to work from home. The neighborhood was also perfect. It was extremely walkable to the French quarter buzz or other more low key and charming restaurants, bars and coffee shops in the nearby Marigny and Bywater neighborhoods. Some of our favorites were Verti Marte, Bar Pomona, Baldwin Coffeeshop, Dian Xin and Paladar511! M. G was an incredible host - he gave us some amazing recommendations, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. He was also extremely responsive and helped with kind gestures like bringing us more coins for laundry, and buying dog bowls for our pup before we arrived. We can’t wait to visit again and are even considering moving here. Nola is magical!
