Jim and Anne’s house is so beautiful and it was such a treat to stay there. My Dad and I stayed overnight and the split bedroom and shared bathroom was the perfect set up. The home is beautifully decorated and was comfortably cool even on a hot and humid summer night. Greenwich is a short distance from Saratoga and a nice break from the hustle and bustle of downtown. We even walked to a lovely restaurant for dinner. Jim and Anne could not have been nicer in checking in before our arrival and providing all the info we needed for our trip. They even had a delicious breakfast for us in the morning. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend others check it out too!
What a lovely house and lovely people. We spent one wonderful and comfortable night in this beautiful antique and art filled house. We wished we were staying longer but next time we will! Anne and Jim welcomed us warmly and we had great conversations with them during our stay. The coffee and breakfast they provided was perfect. The village of Greenwich is so peaceful and pretty and off the beaten path. Anne and Jim’s restaurant recommendation was fabulous (Elsassers Beim 111 on Main Street). Beautiful home in downtown Greenwich. Anne and Jim made us feel very welcome indeed. Delicious coffee and homemade breakfast awaited us in the morning We will definitely return!
Everthing was absolutely fantastic! My in-laws are still commenting what a wonderful stay they had. Jim and Ann made them feel right at home, and left them feeling like old friends. They are looking forward to their next visit. Would recommend 100%.

Hello! We are Anne and Jim, a professional artist and research scientist. Anne's art studio is a dream come true after two years of renovating an old carriage barn. Jim is a fresh water research scientist retired from the State of NY. He is a consultant for numerous organizations including those protecting beautiful Lake George. He also works on trains and enjoys puttering around the house. His passions since retiring from his day job is reading and watching good films. We bought our 1860's home in 2013 and have enjoyed restoring it. Gardening is also a passion and I have a newfound love of landscape design. We love our home and our town. We love good food and live in the perfect area for farm fresh vegetables, meat and cheese. Our favorite restaurants are here in Greenwich, Elasser’s 111 and Walleys. Our favorite pastimes are pot luck suppers, a good movie, singing with the Battenkill Chorale, attending an art opening or a ride on the back roads of Washington County. Last year we drove the NC 500 of Scotland. Before that, we enjoyed a cross-country spending 8 weeks discovering the beautiful vast expanse of the US. We look forward to sharing our home with you and know you will enjoy the historic beauty of the house and the original art throughout. We want your stay to be comfortable and cozy. Our town is charming and walkable with some interesting shops and restaurants using local farm products.
