We loved our time here and had a blast exploring the neighbourhood over the course of our 5-day stay. It is clear how much care James and Laureta have dedicated to ensuring a clean, spacious, comfortable, and warm space. We found it a tad spooky at night (the whole ‘1850s’ vibe and all) but we’re also city folk who are used to a rumbling streetcar outside our doorstep at all hours and don’t bear so well in the countryside! Some loud animal noises were disruptive to our sleep the first few nights but we adjusted to it in no time. We would recommend this stay to anybody looking for a quaint, picturesque getaway and meditation spot. Just beautiful. Lots of nice restaurants in the area as well, hikes, etc. Thank you for your hospitality!

Our stay at Blue Goose was fantastic overall. Very beautiful place with great views and is very well decorated and taken care of. The only thing that you should be aware of is that there is a lot of noise from animals at night, especially on the walls as it is an old building in the woods, so if you are not used to these may be a bit of a scare the first night. Apart from that everything was great and we had a fantastic stay.

The house is so nice. You get the rustic feel with a little modern twist as far as aesthetics go. I can’t wait to book another stay. Overall beautiful property great people. Thank you!
