Took the plunge booking with 1 review and we are glad we did. The duplex is a beautifully renovated unit with new furniture and appliances. It is very clean and new, tastefully decorated in a minimalist, modern style. It was peaceful, great open concept layout and comfortable beds. I am rating below 5 because we had some difficulty getting ahold of the host. We were never sent check-in or checkout instructions, and leading up to our check-in time I was getting nervous about not having my requests for instructions answered. However, once the host finally contacted me, check-in was straightforward and we were delighted to find the unit in pristine condition. We did need to contact the host again for Wi-Fi password and insufficient towels for our group of 4 (only 3 towels) and again took hours to get a response. At this time, the host did offer to bring a towel himself but we politely declined. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would book again now that we know the Wi-Fi password ;)

We stayed at this new apartment in Austin, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Despite the property being new and us being the first guests, several advertised amenities were missing or non-functional. The Wi-Fi was inoperable, and the TV was not set up, making it impossible to use Netflix or other services. The promised washer and dryer were also missing. Although the listing claimed to accommodate six people, there were only enough household items for four, creating inconveniences. Issues with the shower and plumbing resulted in the room flooding after bathing. Additionally, the air conditioning was broken during hot weather, and the windows lacked insect screens, preventing us from opening them. The host was unresponsive, only replying once a day without resolving any issues. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this property to other guests.
