At home, the property is a fantastic, detached place with ample gardens outside, a space for six guests and a dog to call their own. Open-plan living awaits in the sociable kitchen/diner, a sprawling dual-aspect room with plenty of space for your pet to position their favourite dog bed and bowl from home. Despite having a space to sleep here, we’re sure they’ll find the cosiest spot to snuggle up at your feet in the lounge whilst you sit down for a night in front of the Smart TV. Unless, of course, the whole family is enjoying a sunny evening in the garden, in which case your pet will love roaming around the enclosed, grassy space on their own. Back inside, all three bedrooms and two splendid bathrooms are to be found just upstairs. There’s no end of beauty to be found at the southern tip of the Peak District National Park, so let Rover lead the way on daily excursions. Discover Thor’s Cave (8 miles), Reynards Cave (11 miles), the ruins of Throwley Old Hall (5.5 miles) and the fabulous stepping stones along the River Dove (6.5 miles) in the much-loved beauty spot of Dovedale. Closer to home, find plenty of pet-friendly pubs within 2.5 miles of the property, including in the nearby village of Mayfield or further along in the market town of Ashbourne (4 miles). ?
