The place was smaller than expected. The restroom is terrible. No mirror and super small! Only one of the rooms has a window until so the rest of the house is extremely hot and humid. There were roaches. The location was not central, we were 30 min to an hour away from everything. The price was decent but you really get what you pay for. The host is very friendly and responds very quickly!

I communicated with the host that I had arrived and she stated that I would receive the code to check in at 3pm. Then I received a welcome email. While I was headed to the location I received a email from air bnb that my stay was cancelled?! I had just talked to the host? I did send her a message and ask why. She explained that due to the tropic conditions the unit was damaged and water had leaked through the ceiling and damaged the beds. I felt discriminated against however she did provide an explanation. I honestly think that if I didn’t ask she would have never gave me an explanation. It really didn’t add up because the unit would have needed to be prepared prior to my arrival but because she gave me an explanation I’ll be fair and give her 3 stars but be cautious that your reservation may be cancelled. I was offered an additional $25 rebooking credit through air bnb not the host. She told me if there’s anything she could do let her know but our dealings were final at that point.
