To sum it up in a few words - perfect home in an awesome location with lots of privacy. We stayed at Yves's place for ca 9 days and loved all days staying there. The house has a very unique and positive vibe to it. Lots of light, spacious and really comfy/homy! And that includes all the rooms, from living to bedroom to the kitchen and bathrooms. In addition to the house - the inner courtyard/garden is an excellent addition to the house. basically an extra living room with privacy and guarding from wind. again, super cosy. Location is amazing. Close to Monte Glerico and Arrifana beaches. Plenty of walking routes around, amazing cliff views to beaches etc (the full Portugal coastline experience). Plus you can walk to the amazing Monte Glerico beach in ca 15-20min. Better to be there with a car still, as the region has much to offer. Yves is a friendly and very responsive host. This was very much appreciated as we got a lot of good tips on what and where. Will return for sure!

What an amazing energy this house have!! Loved the mornings in front of the house with a coffee and watching the ocean! The backyard of the house is protected from the ocean winds and makes it a perfect place to chill and catch sun with a refreshing outdoor shower. The house mascot Madeira is a sweet cat that make us feel home! We enjoyed the days in this beautiful house so close from the ocean and still in a quiet and calm area! Thanks Yves for you nice hospitality we will be back!
