Please, do yourself a favor and book the Cozy Oak Cottage, at the Red Barn Ranch. You won’t be disappointed. I’m always on the road for work and it’s not often that I feel like I can completely relax…until I had the opportunity to stay at this amazing little cottage. The cottage has all of the amenities of home and is squeaky clean. Everything was absolutely perfect during my stay. The only downside was that I was staying for work and I wasn’t able to take advantage of everything that this place has to offer. You are far enough away from town to enjoy the peace and quiet, stars, and wildlife, but not so far away that you can’t make a quick trip to town for anything you might need. The best thing about this place are the owners, Jen and Mark. They are great with communication and genuinely want to make sure that your stay is a great one. Jen’s directions on how to find the cottage were excellent and made checking in a breeze. I’ll definitely be making a return trip.

Really enjoyed the cottage and the amenities. Jennifer was really responsive and helpful during the check in and even gave us some freshly baked cookies and farm fresh eggs. Loved playing cornhole and pickleball on the property. Would definitely recommend!

From the moment we arrived at Cozy Oak Cottage, we felt right at home. The property itself is gorgeous and well appointed, was spotlessly clean and had all the charm of Hill Country from corner to corner. What really makes this place unique is the number of personal touches provided by the hosts. We were greeted with freshly baked cookies, a nice bottle of wine, cold water in the fridge, peaceful music softly playing, and luxury linens and towels. The hosts were responsive and helpful and made us feel genuinely cared for, all while respecting our privacy. The location was serene and quiet but only a short distance from Main Street shopping and restaurants. Don’t think twice, just go ahead and book here. I can’t wait to return in the fall!

I enjoyed my stay. Jennifer was a good host. The only thing I have to say is there's a glass front door with no blinds kind of took away a bit of our privacy. but it's an easy fix and everything else was wonderful. great accommodations.

I loved this place so much that I don’t want anyone else to know about it, but that would be selfish of me. The cottage was as beautiful and pristine as the property it was built on. I felt at home the moment I walked in the door. This property offers more than anyone could ask for from wildlife, nature hikes and fun activities. I enjoyed my morning coffee sitting on the front porch in rocking chair. Wound down with some wine on the deck under the string lights. The freshly baked cookies on the counter was just the cherry on top of an already perfect welcoming. Jen and Mark were incredible and very kind host. I will definitely be going back.
