The property is a freestanding house with it's own backyard. Communication with the host was easy with very fast responses. I booked it for my mum and a few of her elderly friends for it's close proximity to the local grocery (small Woolworths across the road) and a short walk to the light rail stop. The house was generally clean and tidy though there were disgusting food marks all over the external sliding door and grease marks on the dining table. We could see the previous guests had KFC and probably didn't look after the place well. The host was apologetic and offered to have cleaner come and rectify which we declined but appreciated the gesture. Beds weren't the comfiest (my mum had to come to my place to sleep on the second night) but her friends didn't complain. I would recommend for larger groups/families.
We had a great time staying at DECHO. It was very convenient. They were very prompt and very easy to communicate with. The place is easy to find as well. Our one night stay was worth it. We will definitely choose to come back. We recommend this place for families.

Found a gem of a stay in Franklin, ACT. Just what we needed and had plenty of space, beds, and nice outdoor area as well. Kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, pots and pans, crockery etc. Host was ridiculously responsive. It’s as if they had their phone on at all times. Once we sent a message through, you could count to 3, and they’ve read it, and responded soon after. We brought an appliance but forgot to bring the power cord. They went above and beyond to even bring us one so that we could use our appliance during the stay. Even provided extra towels when we asked for 2 more. Very competitive pricing and great value, considering all the other more expensive stays around us. Surely our first option when we are back in Canberra! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
