I absolutely had a fantastic time for the weekend. Me and this beautiful girl that I have been seeing fell in absolute love with each other and now I will forever associate this place with that amazement. Our entire plan was to go kayaking up in the UP, and when we pulled up to the location there was 2 kayaks IN THE BACK. I did not see these on the listing and this made our entire weekend immediately. Pretty sure we're going to come back to this special place again maybe for some summer kayaking as it was perfect. Everything was clean, tidy, and they had all the amenities we were wanting/expected. Also we cooked the entire weekend and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans and that was unexpected and extremely helpful. Thanks so much to the host as we had an amazing time and I am so grateful for this specific spot being listed. Best spot in the area in my opinion and should be a sell for anybody wanting a beautiful relaxing weekend with the family or significant other.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We toured the surrounding attractions and squeezed in every bit of fun at the cottage as possible. We used the paddle boat, the kayaks, built a fire for our s'mores, cooked together, shared many laughs, and loved the peaceful view of the lake. One evening the moonlit lake was a beautiful blue that seemed surreal. This place is great for families or couples. The host was very responsive and was able to accommodate our special request. We appreciated that and the details that have gone into this cute cottage. I wanted to take my mom on a trip to the UP to see things she's never seen & to help bring healing after the loss of my dad 8 mos. ago. They were married 52 yrs. We wanted a cozy place with minimal steps for mom, a place to feel more like a home as opposed to a resort, a peaceful setting with water views, and things to keep my 2 nieces entertained as well. It was perfect & within budget.

Great place to spend a few nights on the lake. Great communication, and easy checking. Can't wait to come back.
