Escape to the serene 'Little River Cabin,' a retreat nestled on a private one-acre meadow along the picturesque Mendocino Coast. Wake up to sunlight streaming in the French doors and enjoy your morning coffee watching the deer. The cabin provides a quaint yet contemporary experience with all the comforts of home including a plush king size bed, a cozy fireplace and patio overlooking the forest. The Cabin is a perfectly sized one bedroom, one bathroom home. Walking in the front door, you’re greeted with a comfortable living room and fireplace for gazing out on the meadow. The couch is very comfortable and can be an extra bed with sheets and a pillow. We offer a full dining table to seat four guests and a desk looking out on an apple tree. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for home cooked feasts—Bosch fridge, gas range and oven, microwave, and Breville toaster oven. Enjoy the counter seating, which is the most comfortable and casual place to gather. The bedroom is resplendent with natural light from the French doors. At your disposal are a closet, bench and luggage rack and side tables with charging ports. We’ve provided robes, slippers and natural bath products for your luxurious week weekend moments. The bathroom has double sinks with lighted vanity and a shower.

Our stay at the Little River Cabin was a pleasant surprise. The cabin's size was just right, giving us both privacy and easy access to restaurants and the beach. It felt like every detail (from the eclectic decor to the private back deck) was carefully planned. Our favorite part was quiet morning time with coffee on the deck—the air is so fresh on the coast! The amenities were solid: cozy robes, tea and coffee, good quality shower products. Our host even gave us a list recommendations for where to eat and visit. They were spot on. We’re definitely coming back.
With so few reviews, we were rolling the dice with this new listing but… wow. We got lucky. This place will be really popular. Relaxation started the moment we pulled up. Cute little place in the country on a large field. All the basics and all the details, and a really charming little spot. We’re so glad we stayed in Little River instead of Mendocino because we had more land space and breathing room. Really nice, we’ll be back!
We had a wonderful stay at the Cabin. It was so cosy and peaceful - thoughtfully decorated, super clean, and with a warm, thoughtful vibe. Five minute drive from town, easy to pop in for meals and coffee and shopping while still being very private. Jonathan was really helpful and had great restaurant recommendations. Also, he was super responsive to answer questions as we got settled the first night. Looking forward to our next visit!
Magical spot, great value. The cabin was exactly what I was looking for. Extremely cozy, surrounded by trees. Really enjoyed watching animals and enjoying nature over coffee in the morning. Had great conversation and drinks at the nearby Little River Inn followed by walks by the ocean. Will stay again next time I'm in the area. Host was very easy to work with, solid arrival instructions are always appreciated.
What a cozy, warm, and beautiful space. Love the fireplace! In the morning, I sat with my tea on the back patio, listening to the birds as the sun came up…what a welcome break from the city. Will def be back!
