The apartment comprises a comfortable double bed made up with hotel linen, a fully equipped kitchenette to cook basic meals at home and a modern bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink, as well as complimentary toiletries with fluffy towels for your use. The large windows bathe the studio in light and frame the wonderful views. The ideal base in central Sunderland.

Falsely described advertisement. Was confirmed to check in at 18:00pm and someone would be there to greet me upon arriving. This didn’t happen. Tried to get in touch with- had no response - was provided with a wrong number as I didn’t get through directly to the host. Waited over an hour until I eventually got a reply - still no further forward and had to be back at work. Terrible location - it is in a very scruffy area and extremely derelict. PLEASE AVOID!! Waste of time and money. Wouldn’t refund me the whole amount either.

There are several restaurants, bars and cafes on your doorstep and the main shopping district is less than 10 minutes walk away. The Stadium of Light is a 20 minute walk, or a short drive/taxi ride. Just 5 mins from the studio you will find Mowbray Park, a lovely spot for a morning stroll and home to the Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens. Sunderland Train station is less than a 10 minute walk away. Hendon Beach is just a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk away.
Being so centrally located, most of what Sunderland has to offer is within easy walking distance. Sunderland Train station is less than a 10 minute walk or a short taxi ride away. There are a number of bus routes servicing the road outside the building, linking other parts of the city. There are also regular trains to Central Newcastle taking around 40 minutes.
