Nice clean place and the host was quick to respond to messages. Great location as it is close to a lot of restaurants, the Waterfront and the Promenade. However, the bed made a creaking sound and one of the blankets provided appeared to be unwashed as it had a strange smell. Despite the pictures not accurately depicting the furnishing of the apartment, the place is still well decorated, but it was a bit of a surprise when the furniture displayed in the pictures did not match the furniture present in the apartment. Definitely suitable for shorter stays but I would not recommend it for longer stays as there is no washing machine and having to do laundry elsewhere would be a great inconvenience. Despite my own personal preferences I would recommend this apartment if you are visiting Cape Town and are looking for an apartment situated in a great location.

The apartment is very nice and cosy. Very clean and great views. Enjoyed my nice.

Johns place needs maintenance, understanding the property has undergone bad treatment from previous tenants i find it unfair to be paying for other people’s behaviours. The apartment is too plain not minimal with furniture that will have you doubt wanting to use it due to the stains on them. For what I paid for the view deserves it however not the apartment itself.
