We arrived at Madeleine's house as guests and left as friends. Madeleine is the consummate host and her house has all the facilities that you require for a peaceful, beautiful bush located, weekend away. If you are keen to ride the Northern Rivers Rail Trail or to try out the Uki Mountain Bike Park then this is the place for you. The MTB park is literally at the bottom of the road and the NRRT is 30mins ride away at Stokers Siding. Don't forget to try out the coffee at the Uki Post Office!

Madeleine was very generous with her home and allowed us to check in when it suited and use whatever we needed. Her home is very tranquil and very relaxing. Madeleine provided a lovely breakfast for us each morning which was very much appreciated. Madeleine has many suggestions of places to visit in the wider area which is very helpful. I would recommend staying here.

Our stay with Madeline was lovely. The property is in an idyllic location with an incredible view of Mt. Warning. We sat out on the veranda each night watching thunderstorms light the sky and silhouette the mountain. Madeleine also managed to show us her friendly possum, which was adorable. In the mornings the same veranda is alive with the sounds of exotic birds, we particularly enjoyed the sound of the Eastern Whipbird while eating the lovely breakfast given to us by Madeline. Staying here is a lovely break from the hustle of the Gold Coast all while being only a stones throw from amazing beaches such as Norrie's Cove (a 25 minute-ish drive). Madeline was a brilliant host, extremely hospitable and friendly, definitely take her up on her recommendations of Uki post office coffee and Uki's amazing pie shop, both delicious!

It was a pleasure staying at Madeleine's. The place was very clean and had all amenities. Madeleine was a great host and made my stay very pleasant. Thoroughly recommend the place!

Madeleine was lovely, very helpful, nice to talk with, easy to share the space with. Made us great breakfasts with a nice view from the veranda to mt warning, the house itself was also very comfortable, clean, and nice to be in, and the area in general is one of my favourites. Thanks Madeleine!
