The center of the city with harbor, passenger shipping, cafes and restaurants is about 1.4 km away, shopping facilities are about 800 m away and the Müritz National Park can be reached by bike in about 10 minutes. Due to the railroad line, which runs about 50 m away, train traffic is briefly and at long intervals during the day. The approx. 60 sqm non-smoking vacation home, which was completely renovated and extended between 2021 and 2022, is centrally heated, has insect screens on the windows and extends over two floors. On the first floor there is a spacious kitchen-living room (sofa bed - extra bed for 1 person, dining table, oven, ceramic hob, fridge with freezer, microwave, dishwasher, various small kitchen appliances) and the modern bathroom (walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer). On the upper floor there are two bedrooms (1 x double bed, 1 x single bed). Also available: Parking lot, furnished seating area in the garden, barbecue, bicycle storage, W-LAN and a high chair on request. The state-approved spa Waren (Müritz) is located in a charming setting directly on the lake of the same name, the largest inland lake in Germany. It is also the tourist center of the Mecklenburg Lake District and attractions include the historic old town, the harbor with passenger shipping, adjacent promenade and numerous restaurants and the Müritzeum, a nature experience center with a huge freshwater aquarium and exhibitions on the flora and fauna of the lake district, outdoor swimming pools, boat and bike rental, surfing and sailing school and many shopping opportunities. Waren is the gateway to the Müritz National Park, which can be easily explored via the well-developed network of cycle paths (also in combination with the passenger boat service).
