The entire complex is designed to be ecologically/biologically sustainable and has its own biological sewage treatment plant, its own solar power supply and its own well. (Water is suitable for baby food.) There is a restaurant in Zechlinerhütte (approx. 1.5 km), shopping facilities and other restaurants in Rheinsberg (approx. 7 km). The extensive property with various seating and sunbathing areas extends to the lake, where all guests have their own jetty, rowing or canoeing boats for hire (for a fee) and fishing opportunities (fishing license available in Zechliner Hütte). Sufficient parking spaces, bicycle storage and storage areas, barbecue, sun loungers and W-LAN are also available. A large covered communal seating area can be used by all guests to celebrate, chat, barbecue or play table tennis. The approx. 24 m² non-smoking log cabin for up to 3 people, completely renovated in 2019, is equipped with a combined living/bedroom (pull-out bed, dining area, flat-screen TV, radio/CD), open kitchen (electric stove with oven, fridge, various small kitchen appliances), bathroom with shower/WC and an open sleeping loft (low ceiling height!). It also has insect screens on the windows, electric heating and a large, covered terrace. The total price includes final cleaning, water and normal energy consumption. When using the electric heaters, electricity is charged according to consumption. Please bring your own towels and bed linen or rent them for a fee. To be paid on site: Tourist tax, if desired: rowing boat 15 EUR/day, paddle boat 25/EUR, laundry package. Pets are not allowed in this house. The attractive resort of Zechlinerhütte is a district of the town of Rheinsberg and is picturesquely situated between the Schlabornsee and the Zootzensee. The wooded and lake-rich surroundings on the edge of the Mecklenburg Lake District and in the Stechlin-Ruppiner Land Nature Park have always been a popular excursion destination and offer numerous opportunities for an active vacation. The area is particularly attractive for water hikers and anglers, as the many bodies of water in the region are interconnected in many ways. Cyclists and hikers can also enjoy an excursion in the undisturbed and tranquil nature of the region, and there are restaurants, boat and bicycle hire in the village.
