Pleasant stay, a bit away from everything. Unit as advertised, but disappointed that the hot tub was not heated. Great deck and view.

We had a great time. The facilities in room and grounds exceeded our needs. Location to beach, restaurants and downtown were awesome. Also your quick responses to our questions was appreciated.

Unit 402 is spacious for 4 or even 6 people (with two king beds in second bedroom). The decks have incredible views. The pools are very nice, and even over the holidays were not too crowded. We liked staying on the north side which is much quieter than the center of town. Chelsea and her team were incredibly responsive -- everything from suggesting transportation companies for airport transport and golf cart rental, to bringing additional water if our 5 gallon jug ran out. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated our hosts.

Chelsea's Apt 402 at Pájaro del Fuego is a delight. The views are incredible. The ACs, appliances, and everything worked. There's regular maid service. One of the best amenities was the 5 gallon jugs of water they keep filled for you. Unbelievably necessary given the heat and humidity, and unimaginable to carry up the hill and steps to the unit! We used the large pitchers in the unit to store water in the fridge. The walk to town is short (10-15 min) and safe, although, I wouldn't have wanted my fiancee doing it alone. The cost of the golf carts (US$50/day) was exorbitant, so we walked it and were fine. The hottub wasn't hot, which was fine given the weather, but was a disappointment. As noted, there are no toiletries included. (there is hand soap and dish soap)
