Nadia's home is spacious, comfortable and very clean. Everything was as expected from the pictures and lovely touches throughout the home. Nadia is a splendid host who enjoys getting to know her guests from around the world. Although language can be a barrier at times, Google Translate filled the gaps. Nadia allowed for personal space while also inviting a glimpse into the local life Italy most tourists are not able to see. And this is a treat-just what we were looking for! The home was a little difficult to find at first but is right across from the park and not far from the town square. Free Wi-Fi is in the town center and easy to use-this is typical of the country towns. Wi-Fi is not in the homes but in the town centers where the locals enjoy each other's company and children play in the park. Giuliopoli, a quiet, safe and lovely town in the countryside of Italy. The surrounds resemble a fairytale dream of villages. Nearby villages of Rosello for dinner at Agriturismo, Lo Scamorzaro and groceries at the village of Villa Santa Maria. Don't worry about fruits and vegetables because the mobile grocer arrives on Mondays and you can shop right from the truck. The town of Pietrabbondante (45 minutes) has ruins of the Samnites older than the Colosseum! Within an hour to 1.5 hour drive are the beaches on the Adriatic, museums, and hiking in the national forest. We enjoyed our stay at Nadia's and in the lovely village and would return again.
