So first of all it is a terrible place to spend your weekend. Not a single photo posted on Airbnb is the same as the location. It is terribly maintained place which has not even been cleaned properly for once. The outdoor area is so pathetic that you can not step out of the room once u have entered the property. Now I would list the defects/ problematic areas of the property: 1. There is no main door lock. sorry I din click any photo. 2. Unhygienic drinking water. Infact it was tap water filled in dispenser. 3. There is no provision for power back up. We faced regular power failures extending upto 6 hrs. 4. The beds and bedsheets are so vintage that it was hard to examine the period of its use. And yes there was a filthy stink too. It was replaced by the caretaker but to no avail. 5. Last but not the least, the road from girinagar till the bungalow is horrific. That will be all. I would request all visitors to read through the other reviews too to have a better understanding before booking this property for stay.

No power back up,bathrooms are not clean as expected.The stairs in the house are risky.there are no railings.Not safe for kids.Most important is - there was a snake inside the house.The shutter in the basement has a 1 inch opening at the bottom.naturally rats and snakes can creep in.You are staying in a jungle obviously.

We visited Nitin and Advait's family home in peak summer yet were charmed by its spaciousness , cleanliness and the solitude it offered. This is a place for people who love the unkempt wildness of a hillstation and a home,want to wake up to chant of peacocks and other birds and don't feel scared without a soul in sight be it day or night . It's not for those who are worried about breakfast options and nearby grocery stores . One is adviced to carry everything that one needs. A ghar gutthi kind of placed called canteen offers basic options as carry away The home has a well equipped kitchen hotplate .Full crockery sets ,cooking pans , enough extra mattresses and a parking that can house 2 vehicles It's part of anandvan a gated community .The bungalow is independent and has a three terraced garden that was dry in summer but would be seeing many different hues in other seasons . Are we going back ? Definitely, but in a different season to witness the other aspects of this place

A lovely place to spend your weekend if you are looking for peace, quiet and relaxation. Located atop a hill, this bungalow is set admist thick foliage and is the best place to laze your weekend away. There are 3 comfy rooms and a large living area. However, the attraction is the huge private garden where you can camp all day, and even have a bonfire at night. There is a shared club house nearby where you can play a game of tennis or chill on the pool (swimming costume mandatory!). There is also a canteen nearby where you can make food arrangements from. They dont deliver, so you will have to collect the food. Food is simple and as per a set menu, but very very delicious! It is advisable to carry snacks and ready to make food as there is a fully operational kitchen. If you plan on doing some sight seeing, Adwait will guide you on the nearby options. We will definitely be visiting again.

Location and house were great but critical misses such as a working stove were a major down due to the remote location.
