my wife and i have stayed at Tony's about 5 times now i think. The cabin and property are perfect for us. very clean. We wouldn't turn the TV on if they had one, but even better to not even see one. we always do the same thing. we bring some chicken, steaks and ground beef and i rig something up outside with bricks, charcoal and a grate. we let our meals sizzle as we share a cold drink on the deck and take in the views. they have a gas grill as well. we spend the vast majority of time outside (just like at home). inside, the cabin has everything you need but we dont need much. and you always find some little detail you hadn't noticed before. like reading the bible. this last time i serenaded my wife with the guitar. we park the truck and it sits there unmoved all weekend. but Tony always offers details on whats available in town and tells us about the walking trails. my wife and i are happy to just enjoy our time together. so pleased we found this spot. enjoy.
Tony's mountaintop cabin is exactly as advertised; beautiful scenery, comfy cabin, and all the amenities you might want when trying to get away to a peaceful location. Tony seems like a great guy and was super helpful throughout. Everything was top notch during the stay.

This was our 3rd visit to this very special mountain top cabin! We continued to enjoy our rituals of burning fires, taking in the spectacular sunrises and sunsets, and having a much needed "reset time". So amazing to have this type of remote property, but with the conveniences of fiber internet & tons of activities nearby. There is also a nice community hike that is accessible from the cabin. This time around we ventured to Granite Falls and we can highly recommend the restaurant City Cafe! Great food and hospitality! Tony and Jennie are genuine & gracious hosts, putting several personal touches on the experience from homemade baked goods and fresh fruit to plenty of firewood for the wood stove and outside fireplace. They have thought of everything to make you feel welcomed and comfortable!
Tony was attentive and thoughtful, looking after us from the time we arrived until after we were gone and left an item behind. The amenities are ideal for this stay - greats views in a cozy space with introspective vibes.

自我介绍
My wife and I are retired educators with a wide range of interest and hobbies. I play mountain music, teach tai chi, manage a fiddler’s festival, and maintain our country home and mountain cottage. My wife is busy with church activities, yoga, community outreach, promoting social justice and keeping up with grandchildren. We are sort of “tree-huggers” who like traveling, and outdoor activities. As hosts, we love having musicians, artist, outdoor enthusiasts and people who listen to NPR. As guests, we are flexible, adaptable and prefer “experiences” to luxury, e.g., one of our best vacations was building a Habitat house in Guatemala—pretty rough accommodations. A sunset and a glass of wine pretty much will do it for us.
