Grand Opening Spring 2024! (Under new ownership & management). A private ensuite in this beautiful vacation rental house. An excellent base camp for your Escalante/GSENM experience! Prime location right in the center of town, across the street from Escalante Outfitters and Utah Canyons Outdoors, makes it ideal for being "Outward Bound from the Heart of Town"... or just a peaceful place for a scenic get-a-way! A private King-bed ensuite with full bathroom attached! "Sweet Mountain Suite" There is also a private Queen-bed ensuite available across the hall. "Sweet Desert Suite". If your group is 3-4 people , you could rent both suites at the same time! Previously run as a bed and breakfast, currently in the process of becoming a full vacation rental house. At this time, this very nice private King-bed suite and attached full bath is available. The suite is upstairs, with a locking door, across the hall from the other suite.

Visited Escalante for a weekend hiking trip and found this fun and cute place to stay. This house is very clean, well-maintained, and has very spacious rooms with private bathrooms. A lot of work and thoughtfulness has been put into this house to make sure guests have a great experience. It is located next to some great restaurants and cute little shops. I loved mingling with the guests staying in the second room and love the idea of this being a social place where you can meet new people who share an interest in the outdoors. James is super friendly and helpful. He is very knowledgeable about the area and has fantastic recommendations on things to go do and see. (Because he’s done it all!) He was very responsive to any concerns or questions that I had.
What an absolute gem of a place! Spectacular house in a beautiful town with an outstanding host. We were so lucky to find this amazing house - book now while you still can. It will book out fast. Jame's was incredibly insightful and knowledgeable about the area and about hiking in general. We wish we could have stayed longer and are already planning our next visit.
We had a great stay. The communication was pleasant and smooth at all times. We hope to come back in the future! The house was clean, comfortable and in a great location. James was helpful and knowledgeable in helping guide us to great places to check out on our outdoor adventures. We will be back!
InnSpiration Escalante has a great location that is convenient to all things Escalante. Very comfortable and James is a very good host.
James is an incredible host! He is very kind and knowledgeable of the area and has great recommendations of local trails and things to do. He quite literally saved our lives when we skidded off a snowy road and he assisted in getting us out until a sheriff came. We ended up driving back to the closest town which was Escalante, and even during the storm with power outages we had a great time and felt right at home in James’ airbnb. There is a cute gear shop and restaurant across the street which has great food and super convenient to walk to (even in a storm). It was the best case scenario from a very unfortunate storm we crossed and we are fortunate for James and his airbnb!

I sometimes lead small groups on hikes, slot canyons and backpacking trips. There is so much to learn about the area, and so much fun to be had!
