If an affordable lake vacation is what you’re looking for, A-Frame on Seneca is the place for you. A rustic lakefront cottage of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail and close to many other points of interest in the Finger Lakes. Swim in the lake, watch the sunrise every morning, and just escape the stress and noise of every day life. Our rustic A-Frame cottage is not fancy, but it's all about location! It is directly on the lake with a large deck and let's be honest, you'll want to spend most of your time enjoying the beautiful lakefront! The deck has sun loungers, chairs, a picnic table with umbrella, and a gas grill for barbecuing. There are steps to get into the cottage. The living space is on one floor, consisting of a small kitchenette (refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster, and coffee maker), futon, dining table that seats 6, and a wine fridge to keep your wine at the perfect temperature during your visit! Upstairs (12 steps) is a small loft with two full beds, a dresser, and wardrobe. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: futon in the living room, 2 full beds in the small loft space upstairs. BATHROOM: the bathroom is separated into two rooms with a toilet and sink in one room and the shower in another. PETS: we do allow pets, but owners must be responsible for cleaning up after them! Please dispose of pet waste in the garbage totes behind the cottage and vacuum dog hair before leaving. ACCESSING THE LAKE: The lake is accessible via a small ladder from the dock. We do have a paddle boat, row boat, and we have 4 life jackets available for guests. If you venture out onto the water, we strongly encourage life jackets. Seneca Lake is a very deep lake. The water is cold below the first few feet and currents can be unpredictable in the deep water, especially as you move away from shore. Use the property and lake at your own risk. Watch the sunrise over the lake, spend the day floating and relaxing outside, or head out to explore the beautiful Finger Lakes Region.
