"One on the Creek" is a charming, renovated two-story home, retaining it's old-timey character. Tucked into the quiet end of a dead-end street, has a secluded deck, patio and backyard fire-pit overlooking the picturesque woods and water. Based waterfront on beautiful stocked Tidioute Creek just upstream from where it flows into the Allegheny River. Central to so many outdoor activities, it would take pages to describe everything you could do while staying at "One on the Creek". You will see in the photos, this is a turn back the clock destination. Note the lack of large TVs in every room. Get away from the hustle and bustle and recharge playing board games. reading, being outdoors, cooking, campfiring, etc.. The look and feel is for that outdoorsy, adventury unplugged, recharge type weekend. ..BUT IF, staying connected gets you here in the first place, or you extend your trip by working remote - we do have 100Mbs WiFi.
Perfect accommodations for my family to get together. The house had everything we needed and the surrounding area is very peaceful. Loved the sound of the creek when sitting on the deck!
Lovely home in an out-of-the-way region 2.5 hrs north of Pittsburgh and an hour south of Eire, PA. Roomy overall, well appointed kitchen, gorgeous creek side setting with deck and front porch. Relaxing. Nice view! Slightly quirky room/bed set up; ideal for two families with kids. Our more eclectic group of 11 made do, though! We were there to see the eclipse!
We stayed at Casey’s place during March break weekend. Casey was very helpful and always responded on time. The place is amazing and very clean. The river in the surrounding the area is beautiful. We had three families with group of 14 people and all of them were very happy with their stayed. I would recommend to other guests and if I have another opportunity in the future I will book the place.
Come for the outdoors, mountains
river, creeks, trails, forests...just don't
come for the bustling town-life,
you'll be disappointed. I find the
town charming and there are many
peautiful Victorians and meticulously
maintained residences and weekend
getaways surrounding "One on the
Creek." Like any remote mountain
town, there are a few places that need
some upkeep mixed in, but the town is
extremely safe and quiet.
You can walk to (the only) restaurant
that serves breakfast, the Landmark
Hotel (famous for their fish dinner),
Hotel Tidioute (a bar featured on
American Pickers) or roam around
looking for Bigfoot, but plan on driving
to Titusville or Warren for that truecity dining/shopping feel.
There is also a nice library and great
playground in walking distance and
a picnic area at the boat ramp (just a
short paddle or walk downstream).
See the more information section
for all sorts of fun facts about the
neighborhood and things to do
nearby.
Walk, hike, run, ski, bike, drive your car
or just stay in...just DON'T count on a
Uber or Lyft. You may have higher
odds of spotting a unicorn!

I'm very fortunate to be a stay at home mom, raising two beautiful boys that love the outdoors just as much me. I grew up in a small town with a love of hunting and fishing. Since then, I myself have used Airbnb to travel From Alaska to Maine fishing for halibut and riding Harley's down the Alaskan coastline, experiencing all this community has to offer. I look forward to making wonderful new friendships from all around the world!
