A fantastic long weekend, enjoyed by 3 generations of family! The place was spotless, & we believe we were among its first guests, which added to the freshness of our experience. The layout of the living space was smartly arranged, allowing us to relax together comfortably. The hosts went above & beyond, providing thoughtful touches like Easter eggs & a generous welcome hamper. Plus, its location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions like Cat Bells, Aira Force Waterfalls, Ullswater & Whinlatter Forest - all within a short 30-minute drive. The beds were comfortable, with hot water bottles & snuggly blankets if needed. Although the heaters & log burner put out enough heat to keep the place cosy throughout. The kitchen was very well equipped, including a washer and dryer & plenty of cleaning products - something that we've found lacking in other places we've stayed at. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable, we'd absolutely recommend!
