If you do decide to break away from the comforts of our home, hop on the 6-passenger golf cart and take a 2-minute ride down to the beach. Grab some of the provided beach towels and chairs and pull into one of the designated golf cart parking spots on the beach – only about 1,000 yards away from the front steps of the home! Once you catch the sunset, take the golf cart over to one of the exceptional Indian Rocks restaurants for a great dinner and a refreshing adult beverage.

If you decide to explore beyond Indian Rocks Beach, you’ll enjoy visiting the nearby Clearwater Marine Aquarium, only seven miles away. If you want to hit up some urban bars and restaurants, you’ll love the unique vibes in downtown St. Petersburg or Tampa, either of which is a quick half hour drive away. Or take a drive up and down Gulf Blvd and explore all of the famous beach towns along the coast of Tampa Bay, including Dunedin, Clearwater, Treasure Island, and St. Pete Beach.

Indian Rocks Beach is located on the West Coast of Florida, located just south of Clearwater Beach and due west of Tampa. It is a quaint little town with a population of only 3,600, but is part of the Tampa Bay metro area where more than 3.2 million reside.
The largest airport near Indian Rocks Beach is Tampa International (TPA), about 30 minutes away. St Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport (PIE), a smaller airport with less direct flights, is only 20 minutes away. Sarasota airport (SRQ) is a bit over an hour away and can sometimes be less expensive than TPA.
To get to Magnolia By The Sea from any of these airports, rent a car, take a taxi, or use a ridesharing platform like Uber or Lyft. There is no public transportation.
Once you arrive in Indian Rocks, most restaurants and stores are less than a mile away. Many are accessible using the provided golf cart. It is also easy to catch a ride via one of the ridesharing platforms pretty much anytime day or night.
Downtown St Petersburg and Downtown Tampa are each 30-40 minutes away. Publix (the local grocery store) is only 4 miles away, Largo Shopping Mall is only 6 miles away, and the nearest Super Walmart is only 6 miles away.
