This lower ground apartment is located on a beautiful Victorian terrace on the leafy outskirts of Penzance. The town centre is a 10-minute walk away, whilst the seafront promenade or lido is walkable in under five-minutes! The apartment is clean and comfortable, with space for four people to spread out and enjoy a holiday in Penzance. Quiet and comfortable, the living room features an exposed brick fireplace, large sofa, colourful furnishings, a dining table and smart TV. Next door, the kitchen is fully stocked with numerous mod cons; find a dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. The master bedroom is spacious: find a cast iron bed, pretty antique furniture, a desk and artwork that hangs on the walls. There is a further second bedroom with single bed and pull out trundle bed. A modern bathroom with a shower has been recently renovated. Its convenient location to the seafront, the South West Coastal Path and Penzance town centre make this a great bolthole for a coastal getaway! Free parking is available on the street outside the flat, as well as on surrounding streets. Well-behaved dogs are welcome with a fee of £20/dog (max 2). It is on the condition they are not allowed on the soft furnishings or in the bedroom/s.
Hannah's basement flat is clean, and was perfectly adequate for our needs. Walkable to the Penzance seafront, and town. The area is quiet, and, although not always able to park directly outside the property, we were able to park within easy walking distance. Would definitely consider staying here again if we are in the area.
A very well resourced apartment, clean and in an excellent location. It is a very functional apartment but its coziness could be improved by a curtain over the front door and cushions and rugs (as seen in the listing photographs). The bathroom is tiny, the apartment ok for 2, but it would be a difficult stay for 4. It was unusual not to find a welcoming pint of milk or a folder with local info and instructions. It was though good value and a good base for being out and about and exploring.
If you’re looking for a nice holiday place within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, bars and historic places of Penzance, then Hannah’s Place is perfect. There are loads of free parking on the street outside and inside it’s a home from home, lovely facilities with the peace and quiet, off a tree lined road. Great for a weekend retreat or a long holiday. It really helped us relax and get away from the busy world. Hannah was really helpful and gave us local information. Looking forward to our next stay.
The flat is centrally located in Penzance and local amenities are all within easy walking distance. Situated on a beautifully mature, tree lined road that leads straight to the beach in only 5 minutes walk. Jubilee Pool, an outdoor pool right on the seafront, is around 10 minutes walk. Free parking is available in the street outside the flat.
Close by are the beautiful and historic sites of St Michael's Mount, Mousehole, the Minack Open Air Theatre, Land's End, St Ives and the Scilly Isles.
Penzance benefits from very good travel connections with trains operated by Great Western Railway running right into the centre of town. There are also lots of buses running to other areas and attractions in Cornwall. So if you do not have a vehicle, it is easy to still enjoy your time here. For those that do have a car there is free parking on the street outside the flat.
