There are 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, so even if you are a large family, you do not have to spend the holidays queuing for a shower. The 1st floor is furnished with 3 beautiful, bright bedrooms and a bathroom. On the ground floor you will find another 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All bathrooms are equipped with shower. Large kitchen furnished with all modern facilities, as well as utility room where the washing machine is located. The two adjoining living rooms are the heart of the house. Nice dining room with space for everyone around the dining table and living room furnished with beautiful wood stove, where the family can gather for cozy evenings with board games or a good movie on the TV. A third small living room, also furnished with TV, is located at the opposite end of the house. If older children are on holiday, they will have their "own" living room. The only thing the house lacks are guests who can occupy the rooms and enjoy the holiday to the fullest. Outdoors the house will spoil you with a lawn and a lovely, partially covered terrace, outdoor spa and several cozy corners with garden furniture, where a glass of cool white wine or a good cup of coffee can be enjoyed – possibly in company of good book. The house was originally built in 1920, continuously renovated and most recently rebuilt in 2009. The home appears nicely well maintained and ready to form the framework for your next holiday. PLACES TO VISIT IN THE AREA: A short walk from the holiday home you will find both Kystmuseet (the Coastal Museum) and Drachmanns Hus. At Kystmuseet you can visit both the poor and the rich fisherman's house, hear exciting stories about the many strandings of the past in the area, and see special exhibitions about shipping and fishing. In Drachmanns Hus you can experience how the great painter and author lived and worked. A walk or a bike ride to Den Tilsandede Kirke (the Sanded Church), along the old church path, is also recommended. You will find the church south of the city center. Also take a trip to the beach at Damstederne, south of Skagen Harbor, and enjoy the day with sunbathing and a refreshing dip in the cool sea water. When hunger strikes, there are plenty of options. Skagen offers a large number of restaurants and cafés. Today, Skagen Fiskerestaurant and Restaurant Pakhuset are housed in the old Bindesbøll fish warehouses by the marina. Several smaller eateries are also housed in the small fish warehouses. They are open during the summer, as the food is always enjoyed outdoors sitting on the quay. A locally brewed Skagen beer should of course also be enjoyed at Skagen Brewery. Every Friday and Saturday afternoon, the brewery offers live music, free admission. Skagen Bryghus is located 300 meters from the holiday home.
