To the holiday home belong a large garden area with a good seize green lawn, multiple terraces, balcony, furnished with plenty of garden furniture’s, garden sitting house, bonfire place and barbecue. Your outdoor vacation time can be enjoyed with plenty of style. At the main and entrance floor of the holiday home, a spacious, large, modern and open kitchen-dining room, with plenty of room for everyone around the dining room table, supplemented of the lovely wood burning stove. From the kitchen-dining room area direct access to a smaller terrace, inviting for a relaxing time with a drink in the cooling shadow. Beautiful bathroom with separate shower, and the sitting room furnished with comfortable leather sofas and a wall mounted TV and stereo. A little reception room adjoins the sitting room towards the staircase to the top floor. On the top floor you’ll find 3 light filled bedrooms, whereof two has direct access to the balcony. One of the bedrooms is also furnished with a TV. One of the holiday homes three bedrooms are located on the first floor. On the lower level of the holiday home, a large beautiful bathroom with spa and separate shower is located, two lovely bedrooms, each furnished with a ¾ bed, plus a comfortable sitting area with sleeping couch and TV. From the sitting area direct access to the outdoor areas. The mudroom is located on the lower level as well, and function as the residence wash room with washer and dryer, including table work space. Grenen, Denmark’s most northern point, where the two-ocean meet (the North and the Baltic Sea) is a must to explore and visit.                                                                                           The near surroundings of the holiday home, inspire to outings in the adorable dune and moor landscape of Grenen, the old questers of “Østerby” and down to the Bascule Light, one of Denmark’s oldest lighthouses. A recurring Danish tradition is June 23th, where Danes celebrate Skt. Hans/midsummer celebration and here in Skagen next to the Bascule Light, where hundreds of locals and guest congregate to celebrate the arrivals of summer by the bonfire and sing along text “Vi elsker vort land” and Memories by the beloved Danish painter and poet Holger Drachmann.  A short stroll away from the holiday home, you’ll locate the Art Museum of Skagen and Anchers Hus, where you can indulge yourself in the Skagen Painters era, iconic works and learn more about their personal life and Skagen Colony; P.S. Krøyer, Holger Drachmann, Anna Ancher and her husband Michael Ancher and many more. Skagen has a variety of boutiques, galleries, art and craft workshops plus many cafes and restaurants. Consider and plan for a walk though town center towards the old quarters of Vesterby, passing Skagen Church, on to the half-timbered residence of Krøyer, or even further to the Buried Church, sitting proudly in the dunes and moor landscape south of Skagen. En route you’ll pass by the Coastal Museum of Skagen, Drachmann’s residence, and Skagen Brewery where you can enjoy a locally brewed beer, following a stop at Kappelborg, our local culture house. It also home to a state of the art playground and skate park.
