Between the dining room and entrance hall is a wall of old mansion windows, cleverly decorated with string lights at the top. With 156 m2 spread over two floors, the holiday home is perfect for a large family ­­– 4 lovely bedrooms, 3 of which are in the main building and 1 in the annex building. Lovely dining area with plenty of space around the beautiful dining table and lovely living area with chaise longue, giant armchair, and a smart little wicker sofa in children's size. The living room also have a lovely wood-burning stove to spread warmth on chilly evenings. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and plenty of storage space. The annex has a large double bed and a long, decorative sofa, so you also have a little living area. Outdoors, you can enjoy summer days ina large garden, beautifully furnished with a hot tub, terrace with lounge furniture, lawn and an open, covered conservatory where you can enjoy the beautiful summer evenings, even after the dew has fallen. A short walk from the holiday home you will find several cafés as well as a butcher and bakery. You can enjoy freshly baked rolls for breakfast every day accompanied by delicious cold cuts from the famous Butcher Munch. For early risers, we recommend a visit to the fish auction or a morning dip in the fresh sea water at Skagen Sønderstrand (the beach) before heading to the bakery. It's easy to get around Skagen both on foot and by bike. Rent a bike at Skagen Bike Rent next to Skagen Station. We recommend a bike ride to Grenen and to The Sanded Church. On your ride to Grenen, Denmark's outermost tip where the seas Skagerrak and Kattegat meet, you will pass one of Skagen's many lighthouses, the Grey Lighthouse, Center for Migratory Birds. From the top of the lighthouse, you have a fantastic view of the area, the Port of Skagen and the town of Skagen. At the Center for Migratory Birds, you can learn more about the many birds that pass Grenen every year. You can talk to the ornithologists on site and occasionally help ring birds. At The Sanded Church, which you'll find south of the town center, you can experience what the sand drift of the past has meant for the area. PETS: Pets are not allowed.
