We enjoyed staying at Philippa’s place. It was peaceful and private. The bed was amazingly comfortable, the shower had a good flow of plentiful hot water, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We only saw Philippa very briefly when checking-in: she was very helpful with advice, and responded quickly online to a couple of questions.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Phillipa and Clive's place. It was perfect to be able to focus on working in a peaceful location for a couple of days. And being able to cook my own meals in the wonderful outdoor kitchen area was an added bonus. The area is beautiful and I felt immersed in nature and very well looked after. They hosts are very warm and welcoming. Thank you both
The Summer House is a relaxing place to stay, where you can wander around the garden and enjoy an evening display of screaming swifts overhead. Philippa is a great host. Very friendly and helpful. I like the ethos of the outdoor camp kitchen and compost loo.
I had a lovely stay at Philippa's summerhouse. It was so quiet and peaceful after a busy two days at the show I was attending. I knew about the outdoor kitchen, compost loo and pee station beforehand but was also welcome to use the bathroom in the house, which thankfully was on the ground floor. I could avail myself of this day or night as I had keys to the house. I was actually a little bit too short for the compost loo and couldn't touch the floor when on it! After that first time, I used the house bathroom. There was good lighting all around the areas that I was using so moving about in darkness was no problem. I would recommend this stay to anyone without mobility difficulties, but for those that have, it's not at all suitable for wheelchair users or for those very unsteady on their feet. I'm a bit unsteady and use a stick and even though I had a great time, it was definitely a challenge. Having said that, Philippa and Clive couldn't have been more helpful and kind. Thank you!

自我介绍
Myself and my husband moved to Mid Wales in 2015 from Sussex. We are both artists, creating mostly through painting and the house always has a new art project emerging, in fact the house itself is a beautiful and quirky work of art. I am also a yoga teacher and teach weekly classes in the studio. Our place is becoming a hub for beautiful people and things. We love hosting for people and we have events happening throughout the year. We are passionate about nature and wild life and our small holding is an on going permaculture project. We have been beekeepers for many years and although life is more challenging for the bees here, we are managing to keep them alive, which is tricky everywhere right now. We are friendly, alternative and professional people. We like to eat healthy, organic food and believe that a natural lifestyle is the way forward for all.
