When you first walk into this newly built property, you will be in awe by the lofted cabin-style ceiling, ambient lighting, ceiling fans, and the centrally placed stairwell leading downstairs to the bedrooms. The entire upper level is stunning and spacious, which includes the family/sitting room, powder room, dining room, kitchen with an island, and French doors that lead to a private outdoor Trex deck. Expansive windows are featured throughout, which provide plenty of natural lighting, and a view of the beautiful surrounding greenery of Middle Peak ⛰️ and Cuyamaca Peak (6,515’) ⛰️. The first level access is to an open-air, covered workout space, including a squat cage, dip and pull-up bars, a cable for curls/pull/press downs and a full set of dumbbells 5-85 lbs.

This place was everything we hoped for, beautiful and peaceful. The house was just overall amazing with the space and view. Teens loved the gym equipment and music system was really cool. Reese was so helpful with our questions and a great host. There was even breakfast supplies waiting for us! I would highly recommend.
I recently enjoyed a serene getaway at this place and it exceeded all my expectations. Immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, every corner exuded warmth and comfort. The cozy fireplace was a delightful touch, creating a cozy ambiance for relaxation. The surrounding scenery was simply breathtaking, offering picturesque views from every angle. The host was incredibly accommodating and ensured a seamless experience from booking to check-out. Without a doubt, this cabin stay deserves a glowing five-star review for an unforgettable retreat.
We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Best of Both world’s modern mountain home! The home was absolutely stunning, with nothing overlooked right down to the last detail. You can really tell that a lot of thought and pride was put into the place. What truly set our getaway apart was Reese, she was the epitome of a Superhost! Right from booking she was so incredibly kind, thoughtful and communicative. We were made to feel right at home upon arrival and truly adored our weekend in the mountains.
My stay at in Julian at Reese's home was extremely peaceful. The home is nestled at the top of a mountain, with beautiful views and nature sounds. A short walk to the Cuyamaca lake and Fletcher Island. The home is spacious, naturally lit, and looks even better than the photos. Reese's place was well-stocked with everything you could ever need to stay comfortably at the home. She was always responsive, accommodating, and flexible when it came to anything we needed. We will definitely be back for a longer stay. Thank you Reese, for making our stay so comfortable and stress-free (:

Serene and quiet trail/neighborhood, fresh air within the trees, and friendly atmosphere. Private and nestled away, with views of Lake Cuyamaca.
Considered the “jewel of the San Diego Mountains”, the lake is a mixture of adventure, and relaxation. It offers a leisurely walking path for all ages, and welcomes your four legged companion 🐕. It encircles about 4/5ths of the lake, the other 1/5th requires walking on the shoulder of Rt 79 passing by The Pub (another great place to grab a burger and a beer 🍔🍺). Small boats are available to rent, and next door is a tackle shop if you want to test your fishing skills 🎣. Note: The entrance fee is $10, and check-in is at The Pub.
Children get to enjoy the mini playground near the campsite!
Driving up the hill from the main highway, is a bit curvy so please be cautious. When you arrive at the property, please park in the private driveway (room for 4 cars). Additional parking is available on the street. If you plan to get some steps in, it is about a 15-20 minute walk towards Lake Cuyamaca. While downtown Julian, is only a 15 minute drive.

Not only because I have the freedom to host new people around the globe (while balancing my career), but I can come and go to our property listing as I please; while living in San Diego. I have an Interior Design degree from Virginia College, a background in Property Management, and I am currently a Marketing Manager for a home health agency.
