这栋房子位于黄金圈内，距离间歇泉和黄金瀑布只需十几分钟的车程，地理位置非常好。房子内部干净整洁，布置精巧，家具厨具应有尽有。我们入住时正值平安夜，因为周边没有超市，提前准备了食材用房东提供的厨具完成了一道丰盛的圣诞大餐。冬天的时候楼上的主卧会比较冷，楼下暖气很足，运气好可以直接在二楼的休息室看到极光。圣诞期间入住的价格不菲，但如果有机会夏天再来冰岛还是希望再次入住这里。 This house located in the center of Golden Circle, only 10 minutes drive to the Geysir and 20 minutes to the Gullfoss. Maria was a nice host, she lead us to check the house which was clean and cozy. The kitchen is well-equipped, we prepared a hearty Christmas dinner and a breakfast with materials we bought in advance from Reykjavik. Although we put some cookers and plates in the dishwasher, we don't have enough time to clean the dining room. I hope Maria would not mind that and I will definitely come again if possible!

Amazing! Helga Maria texted us the location when we arrived in Iceland and offered us early check in, which was really helpful. My phone wasn’t working well so I recommend asking for the Apple Maps location before you leave for Iceland. We found it just fine though and we loved the peaceful and private location. The kids were mildly disappointed that the bunk bed in the picture was just a regular bed when we arrived, but that was fine. We visited in March and saw the northern lights from the hot tub two nights (but used the hot tub daily!) One day Helga Maria met us at the stables and showed us and the kids around, letting them pet horses and answering all of our questions. We ate at all the restaurants she recommended in the book (Fridheimar, Efstidalur, and Mika) Efstidalur was our favorite for our family with 3 kids. It was great having the washing machine and clothes dried surprisingly quickly despite the cold weather. The location was unbeatable, right near Geysir and Bruarfoss!
