The Winchester Lodge is incredible, from the moment we arrived we were in heaven. The facilities in the lodge were fantastic, little welcome pack lovely, the surrounding countryside was stunning, peaceful and the whole place was so relaxing. My train mad son was in heaven at the station and we would thoroughly recommend staying here. The price was really good too. Thank you Hannah for an amazing stay! What a place!

Very nice stay. We were lucky to see a few of the old stream trains going through. only glitch we had was no password for wifi was available but 4g signal was ok.

We stayed for a 2 festive getaway. The lodge is in a gorgeous location at this time of year. Seeing the steam train come past all lit up was very special. My toddler loved it. The lodge was a very good size for a family, it had plenty of room. There was a lovely welcome basket and it was nice to see a few Christmas decorations. A few areas for improvement with the lodge it was a little tired and worn and a lot of furniture could do with updating. The tv signal did not work very well and kept dropping out. The lodge could do with a good clean, there was dust and cobwebs in areas. Overall it was a nice stay and if you want to see the steam train it is a perfect location.
