My sister, niece, and I had a fantastic long weekend trip at Sissi’s place! It was only 15 minutes to the Mackinac Island Ferry, and so close to all the other parks, beaches, and restaurants! We had a great time at the apartment, the beds were super comfortable, the bathroom was large and spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed! The place is so beautiful too, it’s a completely renovated old school house from the early 1900s, my niece absolutely loved the big chalkboard in the kitchen!! Sissi was so nice and responsive too, my niece was a last minute add on and Sissi was so kind and helpful when I inquired if she could be added to the reservation! We loved our weekend here, and would definitely book Sissi’s place again next time we make it up north! I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area!😊

Staying in the schoolhouse was a unique experience. We loved the historical floors, ceiling, and chalkboard! The decor was carefully thought about and the openness of the studio was perfect for us. We loved the SUPER comfy beds, new bath towels and the natural lighting that came through the beautiful windows! Sissi was a great hostess! She messaged us prior to our arrival and offered local places for groceries and water. We loved that this place was only a 15 minute drive to the ferry that took us to Mackinaw Island for the day. Overall, the schoolhouse was a 9.8/10! Thank you!!! Marcie & William
