Kingsdown Holiday Park, where the chalet is located, is a unique place set on the cliffs with stunning sea and beach views, modelled on a Scandinavian design right on the world famous White Cliffs of Dover, towards Deal in Kent. The facilities on site include a newly renovated swimming pool, tennis court, table tennis, children’s playground, a volley ball pitch and crazy golf. Please note that COVID guidelines remain in place.
Kingsdown Holiday Park with it's Scandi triangle Holiday Homes is set on the iconic white cliffs, proving panoramic views of the sea and Kingsdown beach. This quiet park has stunning gardens which are fenced and safe for children and has a beautiful swimming pool with booked sessions available free of charge. Other facilities include use of a table tennis table, volleyball court, tennis court. Crazy golf and laundry (charges apply).
Kingsdown itself is a beautiful small village midway between St Margarets Bay and Deal and a great location by the sea - beautiful in its own right and close to Deal (about 5-10 mins by car or 30 mins along the promenade) popular with foodies , enter cuisine heaven and eat at the finest restaurants offering locally sourced food and amazing array of restaurants, catering for every taste. Also popular with shoppers with its quirky, ecclectic boutique shops.
Other stunning spots along the Kent coast including Sandwich (for the Open) and the White Cliffs of Dover. Kent is rightly known as the Garden of England and visitors are spoilt for choice wherever they venture within the county. Whether you are looking for a seaside or countryside vacation you won’t be disappointed and you can have both in Kent. If staying local appeals then you can just chill and take in the view or visit three castles right on the doorstep at Deal, Walmer & Dover.
The village of Kingsdown - just outside the park - has three pubs where you can get a great roast plus a butcher/deli and village shop for newspapers and supplies.

Kingsdown is a quaint seaside village near Deal in Kent and has a gorgeous promenade and is located at the start of The White Cliffs.
Kingsdown Holiday park on Upper street has free parking for about 100 cars. It's a 10 mins stroll down the hill to the Sea and Beach and a great starting point for fabulous walks and bike rides. When you reach the sea, turn right for the Cliffs, there are steps up to the top and a lovely long walk to St Margarets and The Lighthouse (about 45 mins walk) (please keep to the path and do not go near the edge).
Turn left to Deal and a gorgeous walk passing the impressive homes of Wellington Parade and Walmer castle. Takes about 30 mins walk to get to Deal with its quirky gift shops and an abundance of coffe shops and restaurants catering for every Foodie's tastes.
Its also easy to get around by train with both Deal and Walmer train stations a short car or cab ride away. There are also local buses. I can help you plan your itinerary in advance and offer advice on the best mode of transport.
