Beautiful house that fit myself and family friends and their 2 children. Everything was more than acceptable. Our only minor complaint was that the shower had a window that we had to cover with a towel so the neighbours didnt fall in love with me. The 2 pubs nearby were both good and its a short walk to watch the tide. Great location in between Dover and Deal and mostly quiet.

Keepers Cottage is a very pretty house that has been beautifully decorated and furnished. I haven’t given five stars as I think a few things need to be addressed. The property inside does not have a lot of natural light and so is very dark, especially in winter. There needs to be stronger lighting inside to compensate. I couldn’t read my book or do the jigsaw we had brought due to the poor lighting. The bathroom window does mot have a blind so you are exposed to anyone at the back of the property who is on the beach or in the car parking area behind the house. Not good when my son is having a shower and workmen can see in. I’ve seen a previous reviewer had mentioned this as well.

We had a lovely stay. The location was ideal for us - we went for early morning swims when the tide was out and the beach sandy as well as afternoon drinks at the pub. Very relaxing family break! Thank you so much for letting us stay.

Cozy cottage decorated with lots of style - we felt right at home! Beautiful interior and lovely little backyard with flowers. The cottage had all we needed and more (lovely fireplace in the living room, wow!), but what we liked even better was the location - a charming pebble beach is 2 minutes away, and right next door are two charming pubs, one of them serving delicious vegetarian burgers! There's also a long trail for walking/biking along the coast all the way to Deal, the next Town. All in all we had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend this place 😊
