Joe and Misty's; Misty Morning Cottages superceded all of our ice fishing adventures. You really can't ask for a better experience. We enjoyed a weekend family vacation in Cottage #2. The cottage is located directly on Moosehead Lake and you are literally steps from the water. Making this our favorite lodging thus far for a day on hard water. We had the luxury of sitting in the warm cabin living room enjoying quality family time while simultaneously watching for flags. The cabin was roomy, clean, gave fishing cabin vibes (with flat screen tv and nice pellet stove), comfy beds and the absolute best view of the lake and Mt. Kineo. Moosehead Bait and Tackle is just down the road along with great restaurants both in Rockwood and Greenville areas. We enjoyed eating out and cooking a large family dinner in the kitchen of our rental. We definitely will book again and look forward to trying it out during open water season as the flags were flying.

The location is even better than it looks in the photos. Joe and Misty were both super friendly and helpful/responsive when we needed them. Highly recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view was absolutely beautiful. We were so close to the water and able to dock our boat for the weekend. The kitchen had everything we needed, we were even able to grill outside. The beds were comfortable and I appreciated the blackout curtains with all the big windows for sleeping in! Joe and Misty were very responsive if we needed them and were very friendly. We will definitely be going back!

This was my second time visiting Joe and Misty’s cabins! They are incredible hosts and so kind. This time I brought a group of my friends who enjoyed the experience immensely! Highly recommend booking here for a serene weekend away!
