Connect with nature, speedy wifi, and Juneau's best outdoor adventures from this 3 BDR/2.5 BA with easy access to Auke Lake, trails, tours, UAS disc golf, and bus stops. You'll have a lovely kitchen with granite counters, a king bed, a jetted tub, an adjustable height desk, smart home features, games, books, and a guitar. Hike to John Muir Cabin or stroll to Auke Bay Harbor, Cafe, Yoga, Deharts, and Forbidden Peaks Brewery. Pick berries, run lighted paths, and workout at a nearby 24hr gym. This home has a low-key and natural atmosphere that doesn't try too hard while having nice finishes and little luxuries where it counts. There are various places to work quietly and comfortably as well as take a professional looking Zoom call. To handle the extremes of daylight and darkness, there are blackout shades in the bedrooms and light filtering shades in the living areas. To amp up the cozy vibe, you'll have smart thermostats, 4 space heaters, 2 heated blankets, extra throw blankets, and hot coffee or tea to get your blood flowing at the start the day. The couch is spacious enough for 2-3 people to catch up on some vitamin TV on the "adequate" 42" Samsung Frame Smart TV which can be set up to look like art when you're not using it. There's an easy chair nearby and a few books to read. There's also a beginner guitar to play. You will have a few plants as roommates during your stay and I've done the work of planting the summer flowers so we'll see what happens there. Green thumbs are welcome here. Your neighbors will be Coast Guard, State workers, Tradespeople, Police, and other professionals. Everyone's friendly. No one pries. It's not a party neighborhood. Celebrations, dinner parties, and backyard hangs are welcome as long as they end before 10pm. There is potential for 4 total sleeping spaces if you include the inflatable mattress on the second floor (let us know if you need that and we'll leave it out for you). Otherwise, there are three bedrooms (with the primary workspace located in the bedroom with a convertible sofa bed). Each sleeping area has a memory foam bed topper. Beds sizes are 1 king bed, 1 full bed, 1 full microfiber futon sofa), and 1 full size inflatable mattress with built-in headrest. The 5-person occupancy limit assumes folks will share beds and that you will let us know if we need to provide the inflatable mattress and bedding for your stay. The office has a spare monitor, standup desk, two desk chair options, a ring light, a conductive charger, USB ports for more charging, a charging lamp, a conference call speaker, and a shredder. The kitchen island has two USB ports for charging and a Google Max hub for cooking videos, recipes, music, weather, and smart home management. The dining room table can be used to puzzle, work, eat, etc. You're set up for cooking with many kitchen essentials and extras. The air fryer oven doubles as a toaster and cooks pizza and small dishes in a flash. The other basket air fryer pretty much makes the oven obsolete except when it's time to cook a big meal. The Keurig makes single-serve coffee or a full pot and there is a french press, but you'll need to venture out for espresso. There is a full set of Ninja pots and pans and additional cutlery for baking, blending, daiquiri dispensing, and mixing cocktails. There are extra serving dishes for entertaining and a few reusable food savers. There is a wide variety of glassware along with a few wine glasses, gigantic steins, and cocktail glasses. The balcony sits on top of a parking courtyard with a view of Thunder Mountain. You'll see and hear eagles, gulls, and ravens flying around in the wind above. A thick fog frequently rolls in and out of view to the bay along with the birds. When the snow comes, you'll meet all of the neighbors if you feel like shoveling some snow for exercise and socialization, but our plower will eventually come anyway so it's cool to just hole up with the books and movies and hot cocoa instead. In the backyard, there is a plethora of seating options and a patio table as well as a corn hole setup, a rugged garden, and a small fire pit. There are also two gigantic Rhubarb plants and (hopefully) some strawberries back there. You are welcome to cultivate and harvest them. I'm not fancy enough to have a landscaper, but I may send someone by to tend to the garden and indoor plants briefly if that's not your thing.
