Colleen was lovely, from the first time I contacted her on AirBnb (even before booking), during check-in, during the stay, and even for checkout. The house is lovely, sunny, comfortable, and has every amenity you could want or need. If you're considering staying here and it's available, book it! You won't be disappointed.
What I gem of a home!! I was lucky enough to come across The Red Maple Retreat when searching for a temporary home for my family between the sale of our home and the availability of our next home. This is absolutely the most at home I have ever felt, aside from my actual home! It is neat as a pin, beautifully decorated and every little convenience you could think of is taken care of. The sunroom is the perfect place to work, relax or sleep - I'm in love!! The whole house is welcoming and relaxing. The double lot makes for a beautiful backyard too. Since this is a pet friendly Airbnb, the big, fenced in yard was a very welcome surprise!! Colleen, the owner, could not be more welcoming, helpful or accommodating. I was also happy to find that I can easily walk into town and browse all of the cute little stores and restaurants that make up downtown Milford. This has been an A+ experience from start to finish.
Very clean, very comfortable, very central just ideal and what you want when staying in a home in Milford. Anyone who rents this home gets a treat with such a welcoming and helpful host ! Colleen was one step ahead offering suggestions and providing heads up to upcoming events in the area that we otherwise would have missed. My family would recommend her lovely retreat to anyone and would be happy to come back again ourselves. 😊

Hi There! I'm a Speaker, Author and Superhost. For years, I've taught business owners how to provide exceptional customer service. Today, I apply my passion for great customer service to the many wonderful guests who call my furnished rental their home-away-from-home for a short while or an extended stay. The Red Maple Retreat was designed to be an oasis of calm where guests can leave their cares at the door and rest peacefully in great comfort. The smallest of details has been taken care of. My goal is to make sure my guests feel completely at home and look forward to returning again and again. In addition to having an appreciation for business, I'm a lover of art, books, adventure, and nature. I left Michigan for 10 years to travel the world and experience life in a handful of more southerly locations, but, in time, the lure of the Great Lakes State pulled me back.
