We had a great time. Peaceful and a chance to get away from it all. We even had the gas fire on low in the evenings which made it extra cosy. Very spacious and had everthing we needed.

Jean was a very helpful host: we needed extra space for a family member to stay in over the Christmas holidays that we were spending with relatives. Unfortunately a heating problem meant that my elderly father was quite uncomfortable, and was only able to spend minimal time at the property (fortunately we had a relative's house to spend most of the time in). Jean was as helpful as she could be but the time of year meant that it was impossible to fix the issue during the period of the stay, which meant that the lodge did not provide the warm comfortable haven we were hoping for! I know the area well and would recommend it - but maybe not in winter time!

We had a lovely 5 day break , my daughter , 2 grandsons and myself . Very peaceful location and spacious rooms . The lodge is in a good spot , spent 2 days in Morecambe , a day in Fleetwood , Billy Bobs play area , Guys thatched Hamlet all within 20 - 40 minutes drive .

Jean's place was just as described as a hidden gem! Beautiful property, well kept, clean and everything there that was needed. Jean answered any questions and checked in to ensure everything was OK. Nice quiet and private location and safe for children and plenty of room for them to ru. around. Thanks Jean
