The pictures do not do the location justice. To walk out on the deck and view the sunrise over the misty river was unforgettable. I can't wait to return!

Absolutely amazing, in every aspect! Karen was VERY responsive and accommodating. The pictures really don’t do it justice. From the view, amazing sheets, comfortable bed and amenities to all the little extras down to bringing us extra firewood this was hands down one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. We will definitely be booking there again. Karen and Gary have a true gem and all of their effort and attention to detail shows.

The Eagles Nest was perfect & has everything you need while away from home. Great location for a family just needing a getaway from busy lives. Plenty of locations to visit, such as French Like, Lake Patoka, and many caverns. The view of the Ohio River was amazing & we enjoyed watching the barges traveling along the River.

Our family of 4 had a relaxing and comfortable stay at this wonderful cabin on our drive home to Florida. Everything in the home was clean and well thought out. It had the best view from the covered front porch and the hot tub was an added bonus! The Overlook restaurant nearby was a wonderful meal and service. I only wish we lived closer so we could come to this peaceful retreat more often!
