自我介绍

We are Simon & Sophie Green who are in our late thirties, originally from Northampton in England. Simon used to be an Electrician and Sophie an Administration Manager within an Accountancy Practice, in our spare time (before children) we enjoyed renovating houses and moved quite regularly in our local village. Following the birth of our first son Louis, we decided to change our careers and set up a Sandwich Shop. We then worked our socks off for 3 years and were fortunate to sell the small business in 2012 following the birth of our second son Freddie. We then bought a caravan and decided to tour around France and look for a renovation project. Unfortunately we didn’t find anywhere but had fallen in love with the Perigord Vert and decided to keep looking for a property. Simon came over in February 2013 to view a number of properties and stumbled on Mirabelles. By the beginning of May it was ours. We packed our bags and moved with our two sons, dog and cat to start a new adventure in rural France. We had no idea if we would be able to settle here but so far we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We have split our property into two. We live in one side and the other half is our Gite. Our boys are settled in the local school and totally fluent in French.
