Eco-friendly living awaits at this new, 320 sq ft mountain cabin! We built this home in 2021, from reclaimed materials, straw-clay walls, earthen plaster interior, reclaimed wood countertops, & much more! Enjoy views of the peaceful Nederland woods, perch-top views of Boulder Canyon, while nestled on a private road just a few minutes from the heart of downtown Nederland. Endless trails for hiking, biking, and just 15 minutes to Eldora Ski Resort, which is open until 4/21! Our light-filled upper level living quarters boasts plenty of space, even at 320 sqft! The living space welcomes you at the deck entry door to an open, full kitchen with ample counter space, Full bathroom with standing shower, small living room area with futon couch, and 1 cozy bedrooom with a new, natural latex Full size bed with organic cotton bed sheets. Enjoy your coffee or tea from the balcony deck, while also drinking in the gorgeous views of the quiet woods around. While we have excellent internet service at the cabin, we do not have or provide a television. Guests are welcome to bring personal laptops or tablets and to watch TV programs if preferred. The eco-cabin is an ideal retreat into relaxation, perfect for a solo traveling adults or a couple looking for a peaceful mountain retreat, quiet time away from the busy times of life, to enjoy the serenity of mountain peace and a calm space to recharge & rest. Please note that AWD/4x4 vehicles are required to reach the cabin from November -end of May each year, as it can be difficult & dangerous to get around in winter/spring snow & ice without.

I absolutely loved this place! The photos and description were accurate, the view through the windows was breathtaking and it was easy to access (as far as mountain houses go). I liked how we were very close to Ned, and only 25min from Boulder. It was easy to get what we needed as far as food or activities in town, and we easily got to see as much of the mountains as we wanted. The place itself was also adorable, well built and I fell in love! It’s the ideal cozy mountain spot for an individual to live, or a couple to spend a magical weekend. Needless to say, if I ever need to stay near the Rockies again, I would come back. If you’re still wondering if this is the place for your private mountain get-away or your cozy couple’s retreat: let me add that the host was also great! They were responsive, kind and helpful. Anything I needed to know, they were on top of it. If you read this property description and thought “I would live this, if it’s accurate” then rent it!
Can’t recommend the eco-cabin enough! Beautiful location with amazing forest views, and only minutes away from Nederland. The cabin is cozy and was perfect for a weekend getaway. We had all the necessities for making a couple dinners, if you prefer to stay in. The cabin is clean, nicely decorated, and better than we could have hoped for. Already looking forward to a return trip!
Alexandra's place was beautifully appointed, so unusual as it had everything natural and made use of restored recycled, and sustainable materials and the inside was quite extraordinary for its use of eco products and design. I really felt at home here the surroundings were gorgeous and quiet. The kitchen was everything we needed,. Her pottery she made was beautiful and so nice to use during our stay. We were in Nederland to ski and we enjoyed the town as well. We will stay here again, absolutely!
Super cute space! Hosts were very responsive and helpful (even with some challenging weather conditions during my stay). I'd consider returning again for a weekend away.

Located on a quiet, private road, we have just a few friendly neighbors who share our road. Our area is generally very quiet and peaceful!
You will need a vehicle to get here! Rideshare apps are not available in our area, so please plan accordingly. You will need 4x4/AWD or a car with chains on hand in the months of April & May in the event of snow. Mountain driving can be challenging without the proper vehicle in spring snow conditions. The Eco-Cabin is located at 8500 ft elevation
