We stayed over a month at this beautiful house in Puerto del Carmen. Location: In a quiet neighborhood, just 5min by foot from the promenade and beach. Though the promenade is a tourists spot (mostly british) with lots of souvenir shops and restaurants it is charming and we didn’t mind to be in an area where you can get everything you need without driving. A supermarket is nearby, too. It is a good starting point to discover the island. The airport is about 10min away (ca. 12€ by taxi). You can’t hear the noise from the airport, since the airplanes are coming from a different direction. You can walk to the runway in about 45min and watch the incoming airplanes over your head :-) Parking on the street is free and no problem at all. There was always a (spacious) spot. The house: It is build in the late 70s and freshly renovated. Nicely decorated and equipped with everything you need. It is bright and very comfortable. You will have a lot of space for all your travel (and sports) gear. There are even hooks on the wall (a thing we learned it’s very rare in holiday apartments;-) The livingroom is spacious with a TV (we didn’t use it…so no review on that). The kitchen is well equipped (even with sharp knifes :-) You have a separate utility room with a washing machine and different cleaning tools. The master bedroom was comfortable with a big closet. The bed was comfy, not too hard. The small „childrens room“ has two separate beds and also a closet. The garden is big amd sunny. We spent a lot of time outside to read, eat and work. You also have a barbecue area which is covered with a roof. We had to work remotely, so Wifi was pretty important to us. It is stable and really fast - especially for Canary Island. So that was a hugh plus! There is even a third room with a desktop (we didn’t use it, cause you can’t top a homeoffice under palm trees…). The host: Steven is an extraordinary host! We felt instantly welcomed and he made it easy to feel home at his place. He replied right away to our questions and was very helpful and courteous. He will provide you with a lot of insides of Lanzarote. Since he is originally from UK and living for more than 20 years on Lanzarote, english is no problem ;-) We highly recommend this place! We travel a lot and - until now - didn’t feel the need to stay at a place twice. But if we come back to Lanzarote, we will definitely (!!!) book this house! Thanks, Steven, for everything!

The house was very clean when we arrived. In a 5 minutes walk you arrive the main street and in 15 minutes the centrum with a lot of bars restaurants beach and everything you need. The communication with Steve was very good. Once a week he came and clean the garden. We had everything we needed and had a perfect stay :-)
