Our group of friends loved staying at Horsehead Elk Ranch! The surroundings were beautiful, the lot felt private, the elk were fun to interact with, the space was clean and well kept, and the hosts were very friendly. Everything you could ask for. In the morning, Brian even took us into his fields with a grain bucket so we could see the bulls up close! Definitely would recommend. It's a great place to stay while accessing the great sights in the area. If you're planning on staying here with a large group, note that there is only one bathroom and a kitchenette, not a full kitchen. Just something to keep in mind.

A great place for small groups to stay. * The house looks pretty new and very clean. The owner had a personalized welcome message. * Large common space and the floor has a separate entrance from the main house. The description says it is a basement, but one side actually opens to the yard/ranch. Rooms are as described and nice. * Ample towels and amenities, nice beds. * Has refrigerators and bar-like areas for preparing simple food (although not a full kitchen). * Nice countryside setting with convenient road access (in a small town). It really has an elk ranch, although we had only a short stay and the elks were a bit far away at the time. * The only real draw back I can see is that it has only one bathroom and if you have a large party, it is something to be considered. We had five people and it works out just fine.

great ,very peaceful location, beautiful views, up close to elks. place was very clean, we had everyting we needed. would highly recommend this place to everyone. hope to stay there again, longer than just one night.

What a great place you guys have! I wish we were able to stay longer, everything was absolutely amazing. Friendly elk, pool table, ping pong, a movie projector. The gym is also great! I hope to stay again, thank you for hosting us!
