We had a lovely few days, Alan and Carol were both really helpful and attentive. The accommodation is as stated with everything you need. We would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to go back. The views and scenery varies too depending on the weather!

Staying at this property was an absolute delight. We were welcomed on our first day by Carol and shown around as well as taking the time to answer questions and to offer suggestions on local things to do/places to eat. The property itself was perfect, great location, spacious, so many amenities plus an amazing welcome pack that I've never encountered anywhere else, they thought of everything and were so kind with their genoristy.

My favourite birds nesting in their massive garden/wildlife area! Sat out late cooking on our bbq listening to drumming snipe. Food essentials were provided. Great walks from the doorstep. The old rock pub really nice or there’s the New Inn which is walkable and very friendly. Alan helped set up our moth trap and we got some beauties. Cafe across the road for breakfast and cake.

Great flat in a lovely former pub building, Alan and Carole are very friendly and helpful hosts. The location is beautiful, and you are only 10 minutes from Buxton town centre which is also lovely. Both bathrooms were really nice. All the cutlery, crockery, pans etc are top notch, beds comfortable, you’ll have a great stay

We stayed in the Keep and it was fantastic. Everything was spotless, the beds were comfy, the shower was good, and even breakfast was provided which is a great touch. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need - we cooked one night and it was like being at home. We travelled with our two year old son and Carole and Alan provided some toys for him, and there is a sandpit for kids, a lovely garden, and two big ponds with ducks! Carole and Alan were also lovely to speak to, gave us excellent recommendations for local areas to visit (and places to eat) and were kind and nice people. We would definitely recommend this place to others, especially if you have children.
