George's cabin was very welcoming, spotless and reminded me of Danish hygge. We slept peacefully in the comfortable beds even with the significant elevation gain. Everything in the cabin was so well-organized and thoughtfully placed for their guests. George's book collection of the environment and history of the Eastern Sierras is outstanding. We hope to return.

Cozy, beautiful cabin in the mountains! George was friendly and responsive from the start! He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and even came up to snow blow the drive after a big snowstorm to make sure we could get out ok. Loved it!

We had a wonderful stay and the place was perfect for our group of 4, with everything we needed. It's in a beautiful location, the town and bouldering were a short drive down the mountain, the cabin was roomy and very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. George was also a great host and communicated with us before our trip so we didn't have any troubles finding the place or checking in. We would definitely go back and stay there again!

The cabin is nestled in an aspen grove. Very private, very quite, just plain enchanting. The Inyo national forest is the property line, a beautiful and colorful meadow hike starts at the door. It is a perfect mountain retreat.The gas fireplace rounded out the beauty of the cabin comfort and ambiance. The eclectic furnishings were a joy!!
