We’ve just arrived back from a lovely 2 night stay. We absolutely loved this place! Andy provided some nice touches to the place which was a nice surprise. It was peaceful, private with stunning views. Meadow Hut is very clean, spacious and has everything you would need for your stay. The hot tub was so relaxing and we used the fire pit one evening to toast some marshmallows. The weather was definitely on our side so we took a short drive to Hartland Quay for a walk down to the sea. Had a couple of well deserved drinks at the pub there before returning. We had a few visits from Dodge the dog who is super friendly and playful. We honestly can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely be returning for another stay.

Can’t recommend enough, easy to find with Andrew’s instructions. The Shepherds Hut was pristine and stocked with essentials, for a small space there was plenty of storage. My 6’3 partner fit just fine, the bed was comfortable and we both had comfortable amount of space. Hot tub was perfect on a sunny day but also on the rainy days we had too. All amenities were easy to use, log burner was appreciated on a rainy day. We went for a long walk to Speke’s Mill Mouth, which in a round trip including a pub stop took about 4.5 hours, however you can drive to it. Our dog had a wonderful time, his bed fit perfectly next to the pull down bed on the floor, a friendly spaniel popped over a few times and they spent time playing together which was lovely to see. Have recommended to friends, perfect location as it is very private and we didn’t see anybody so great for a quiet getaway.

Wow what an incredible find, I can not express what a delightful place in beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side however that did not spoil our weekend in the slightest. Andy was a great host, very responsive, gave us clear instructions on how to get to Meadow Hut along with recommendations for places to eat. We were welcomed with personal touches in the hut and felt so at home. The hot tub was a delight, and have never been so relaxed which was what we needed. The locals were also very friendly and had a real community spirit vibe. Last but not least we had the pleasure of a visit from Dodge, the family spaniel (if i could have taken him home I would) so friendly and playful .. If you are looking for a friendly, relaxing time away this is the place to go. We will definatley be returning and hopefully next time get to experience the woodland walks

The Shepherds hut was amazing! We went during a particularly wet few days but didn’t let it spoil our stay. The views over the meadow are amazing and all facilities were exactly as described. Andrew gave very clear directions and always responded promptly. Would definitely recommend

Fantastic location and very quiet. A small 15 minute walk through some woods and your in the local village with great pubs and live bands. A great place to escape busy life! Private hot tub was great and plenty of provisions on arrival in the fridge. Instructions on how to get there were clear and precise. Would highly recommend!
